My Dad sent me this picture not too long ago and I thought it was a fitting picture for this Father's Day! We want to wish both of our Dads a Happy Fathers Day! The two studs in the picture are gardening pros as you can tell...and I'm guessing I should have put a disclaimer on the shortness of both of our shorts, ah the good ole' days! :) I love you Dad.

So Shanna finally is back home! I picked her up last night from a long week at Junior High Camp. The camp was in Big Bear, CA and she was the lone nurse among 300 plus Jr Highers! I will let her tell you guys more about the camp in her own words, but I just wanted to express how nice it is to have her back home :)

A New Nursing Adventure Friday, June 5, 2009 |

For those of you who didn't know I am leaving on Monday bright and early on a Nursing adventure. It entails Big Bear, California, lots of junior high kids, and one nurse! I am very excited it will be the very first time that I have been a camp nurse before. I think that it will be a lot of fun. I will be gone Monday through Saturday. I will have to give you all the details when I get home because I am not really that sure what all my nursing tasks will look like. I would though like to ask you all to be praying for safety and sanity for all of the kid and staff!! Well it is time for a new nursing adventure!! And off I go!!!

We have these sunburst windows that shine right into our bedroom every morning that wakes us up every morning, mainly Josh. There are no curtains that are shaped to fit this shape window, so I did a little of creative work of my own yesterday!! Look how cool they are! I think that they look kind of like stained glass!! I just want to share this with all of you, because I did it all on my own!!!
